GROUP ACTIVITY
Goal: To learn about the how to's using Google Earth and its classroom applications.
1. Click here to download Google Earth (if needed) 2. Open the K-W-L Chart(created in Google Docs) 3. As a group, add to the shared document "What you know" & "What you want to find out" 4. Open Google Earth & as a group we will have a Q & A regarding "What you want to find out" 5. List practical applications to support and enrich learning objectives (third column) 6. Karen: #1 Utilize Google Earth more in the classroom. #2 Find good web sites for K - 2 reading and save them on my Edmodo site. Karen search, Delicious
Dorothy: #l Try to use Google Earth with the children in Social Studies. #2 Use the mimeo-board interactive with the children (calendar, math activities ) Ask Tashia to share link on Google Docs
Ashley: #1 Use Google Earth in my classroom. Take Kindergarten on a virtual tour. #2 Use more electronic resources to teach. Games, info., tours, pics. etc.
